For the galvanization process, the steel parts are prepared in an acid bath then directly enriched and individually dipped in molten zinc bath at 465 ° C. This creates an optimum corrosion protection.
 

 

Minimum thickness of zinc coatings in accordance with

Material thickness < 1,5 mm: coating thickness > 45 µm

Material thickness 1,5 to 3,0 mm: coating thickness > 55 µm

Material thickness 3,0 to 6,0 mm: coating thickness > 70 µm

Material thickness > 6,0 mm: coating thickness > 85 µm

RENNER operates one of the few wet galvanization plants in Europe, in which commercial and residential customers can galvanize all types of products. A portion of the molten zinc is separated by a profile frames. The product to be galvanized is pre-wet and then dipped in the floating molten zinc layer. A special feature is that each piece is individually inserted by hand using special pliers, then manually pulled out and cooled. Using the wet-galvanization method, an optimally galvanized product can be created without any dripping marks, creating a uniform surface.

A particular strength lies in the subcontract manufacturing of standard parts of medium size and the galvanizing of vessels and hollow containers of all kind. RENNER has specialized in wet-galvanization. We can galvanize items that can not be attached to racks e.g. all containers, baskets, boxes, buckets, racks, covers, classic car parts, etc. So we provide our galvanization services for a wide range of products.

The basis for the environmentally friendly galvanization is DIN EN ISO 1461. All surface coatings are carried out with great professionalism, high quality assurance in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14 61. Our 24 hour subcontract service promises a quick and timely processing of all orders.

For three decades, environmental awareness has extended to the hot dip galvanization industry. By installing a powerful filter system, our exhaust production is well below the legal limit, and the air is purified of the smallest pollutants. Neither the environment nor to employees suffer from harmful emissions. The residual materials collected are returned to the processing cycle or reused in other industrial processes. The recovery of the materials is more economical and environmentally friendly than using newly produced zinc. One third of the recycled materials: zinc ash, hard zinc and salmiak slag are used to produce zinc. The remainder of the material is converted to zinc dust, zinc oxide or other zinc-containing materials.
